Kampot Pepper originates from Kampot province, where it is cultivated following traditional methods. It has been renowned for decades as one of the best peppers in the world, with its strong, delicate and aromatic flavour. 
In April 2010, Kampot pepper has been recognized as the first Cambodian product to benefit from the status of Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.). Senteurs d’Angkor, as member of Kampot Pepper Promotion Association (KPPA) since its creation, strongly supports this initiative and aims to fight against counterfeit peppers. 
HOW TO DISTINGUISH REAL KAMPOT PEPPER FROM COUNTERFEIT ?
To authentify the Kampot pepper, the pieces of mandatory information must clearly figure on all packaging : the official logos, the batch number and the best before date.
