Kampot pepper is a type of high-quality pepper grown in the Kampot province of Cambodia. It is prized for its distinct, robust flavor and is often described as being more fragrant and bold than other types of pepper. The cultivation of Kampot pepper is a labor-intensive process, with the crops being hand-harvested to ensure only the best peppers are used. It is available in four main varieties: black, red, white, and green, each with its unique flavor profile. Kampot pepper is not only a culinary delight but also a significant part of Cambodia’s cultural heritage.

in 2009, KPPA farming members used to produce around 10.000 tones of pepper per year. Since 2019 the production reached 100.000 tones per year.
