A world-renowned spice with Cambodian roots we celebrate the rich flavours and traditions of Cambodia. Few ingredients capture that better than Kampot pepper. Recognized worldwide for its exceptional quality and distinct aroma, Kampot pepper is one of Cambodia’s most prized natural treasures. At Senteurs d’Angkor Workshop & Garden in Siem Reap, visitors can experience this spice in a whole new way: from soil to shelf, and seed to seasoning.

From Farm to Flavour: Our Partnership with Local Community Growers
Kampot pepper is more than a spice. It’s a story of heritage, climate, and care. Grown in the coastal province of Kampot, these peppercorns are cultivated using traditional organic methods passed down through generations. At Senteurs d’Angkor, we partner directly with small-scale farmers who harvest each pepper berry by hand, sun-dry them naturally, and preserve the authentic flavour of this Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) product.
By sourcing directly, we ensure fair prices and help sustain rural Cambodian communities, while bringing our visitors an authentic taste of the country.

A Garden That Tells a Story
Wander through our aromatic garden, where other Cambodian herbs and spices grow side by side lemongrass, turmeric, galangal, and more. While Kampot pepper doesn’t grow here (it’s a regional specialty), the garden offers a sensory journey into the world of Cambodian cooking and natural ingredients. It’s a place to slow down, learn something new, and reconnect with the land.
